The Association of Multicultural Scientists (AMS) is a student organization at the University of Minnesota.
Our mission: AMS provides a space for socialization/networking, professional development opportunities, and outreach events within the community of underrepresented persons in STEM at UMN.
Our vision: AMS is committed to the recruitment, development, and retention of underrepresented students (at both undergrad and grad levels) and postdocs, as well as increasing exposure of STEM fields to members of local communities.
We welcome new members in all disciplines and all backgrounds:
- Undergraduate students

- Post doctoral fellows
- Faculty
